During the end of my freshman year, my friends and I took over a student-run business that provided full-sized bed rentals to their classmates. Since our company is the only local bed company to supply memory foam mattresses, we decided to position ourselves as the premium mattress renting service as a way to differentiate us from our competitors. In order to do this, we believed a full redesign of our brand was required to help emphasize our dedication to customer service and high quality mattresses. As part of our rebranding process, I redesigned our Squarespace website, redesigned our logo, and managed our marketing campaign through Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor.
During our frist year of ownership, we increased gross revenue from $14,000 to $40,000.
